Mollee Gray


Mollee Gray

Mollee is one of the most sought after and top working dancers in Los Angeles. Her professional and television credits include, SYTYCD Season 6, Shake It Up, X Factor, America’s Got Talent, Ellen, Drop Dead Diva, Big Time Rush, Glee, Victorious and The Voice. Mollee has also enjoyed performing with artists including Taylor Swift, Snoop Dog and J Lo. ​ In addition to her live and TV performances, Mollee has enjoyed performing in films such as High School Musical 1, 2 and 3 and MTV’s American Mall, where she was a principal dancer. Most recently, Mollee has been focusing on her acting career where she has found incredible success. Her first big break was as a supporting actress in the Ashton Kutcher film “No String’s Attached”. Recently children around the world have fallen in love with her acting and dance performance as “Giggles” in the hit Disney Channel original movie “Teen Beach Movie”! While focusing on and continuing to build her own dance and acting career, Mollee has always enjoyed giving back to her dance community by sharing her love and passion for dance through teaching and choreographing.

Deion Muse

Deion Muse is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer born and raised in South Boston, VA. Currently teaching and training at the award winning Essence of Movement Dance Studio, Deion has a true passion and gift for dance. As a well-rounded dancer and choreographer, Deion has had the opportunity to work in a diverse array of genres from musical theatre to hip hop. Select credits include: XeQtion Dance Team, VCU Ram Cheerleader, CompleX Modeling Troupe, Black Ice Dance Crew, CompleX Modeling Troupe, Black Ice Dance Crew, Essence of Movement performance choreography, Shrek the Musical, Oklahoma!, and Gypsy. In 2018 Deion made history with Liberate Artists INC as the first dancer to be chosen and successfully complete Focus 2018 (as an Apprentice in Los Angeles, California) and Phoenix Fire 2018 (as a Primo in Brooklyn, NY). In training with Liberate Artists INC. Deion has had the opportunity to assist and study with some of the most successful dance educators in the industry including: Lauren Froderman (winner of So You Think You Can Dance), Samo Soto (Netflix’s “The Get Down”), and Emmy Award winning choreographer Mia Michaels. Due to his exceptional work ethic, focus, and ability, Deion was invited back to Phoenix Fire 2019, this time as a member of their esteemed faculty. Deion is thrilled to be joining the official Phoenix Fire faculty, this season, and looks forward to continuing to spread his passion for dance to young people nationwide.

Amelia Burkhardt

Amelia Burkhardt

Amelia was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA. Throughout her training, she was on competition teams, winning many first place and overall soloist awards. Amelia was selected for numerous scholarships from competitions and conventions all over California, including a one year scholarship to Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles. Some of Amelia's credits include being a featured female dancer on The Hello Kitty Friendship Festival National Tour, Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush, Promo for Disney's 'Camp Rock 2', FOX 'Mobbed', Good Day L.A., and the Los Angeles Clippers. Her regional theatre credits include: Beauty and The Beast and Peter Pan. She has also worked alongside of celebrities Selena Gomez, Rosario Dawson, Jane Fonda, Wilmer Valderrama, Perez Hilton, Howie Mendel. She has danced for famous LA choreographers, Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo, Mandy Moore, Matt Cady, and Beau Fournier . She was a featured dancer and one of the assistant production coordinators for the world famous dance show, Choreographers' Carnival . She was a company member and assistant for the popular LA based company, Mischief Makers. They are invited to perform all over the country, including Hawaii, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Etc. Amelia also travels the United States judging studio dance competitions for Starpower, Imagine, and Revolution Talent Competitions. Over her professional career, Amelia has been teaching at several dance studios, high schools, and universities on the East and West Coast, including UCLA, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Channel Islands, and University of Delaware. She currently is a traveling faculty member for Liberate Artists, teaching and choreographing alongside Phil Wright, Comfort Fedoke, Misha Gabriel, Lauren Froderman, Mollee Gray, Etc. Amelia resides in New York City to continue to pursue her dance and teaching career.

Julie Carter

Julie Carter

Julie Carter, originally from Alabama, is a graduate of Point Park University with a B.A. in Dance with a Jazz Concentration. She trained at Alabama Ballet and has traveled to numerous countries as a dancer for Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines and Spirit Productions. She has assisted teachers such as Jason Parsons, the late Doug Caldwell, Elizabeth Parkinson (Chorus Line), Kathryn Mowat Murphy (Moving Out), and has performed works by Jason Sparks, Luam, Mike Esperanza, Jaclyn Buglisi, Merce Cunningham, among others. Julie is on the Contemporary Faculty at Steps On Broadway, and has been a Guest Artist for the Martha Graham School’s Summer Intensive, Manhattan Movement Art Center, Dance Teachers Club of Boston, and The School at Steps. Currently a teacher for Liberate Artists, Julie has had the opportunity to work alongside well-known artists from So You Think You Can Dance, including Lauren Froderman, Comfort Fedoke, and Alex Wong. Most currently, she is a company member of NYC-based Dance Into Deliverance and is an adjunct instructor for Sacred Heart University’s Dance Department.


Meet our Liberate Artists Dance Captains (LADCs) coming to your studio. These are our group of hand selected dancers, from all around the world, who assistant and demonstrate with our esteemed Liberate Artists faculty for an entire season on the road. During the season, LADC’s get an inside look at the professional dance world, while working with industry professionals in an individualized manner.
